In this one-hour  members only telechat with psychologist and author Rachel Ballon, we will talk about Journaling for Happy Endings. We are all the stories we tell about ourselves.  These stories make-up our identity.  You can change your sad, problematic stories through rewriting them in your journal to Happy endings.  By righting your stories you'll right your life by:

Rachel Ballon

Rachel Ballon, PhD, MFT is a licensed psychotherapist and international writing consultant. She teaches writing as a therapeutic tool to mental health professionals and health care practitioners in a variety of settings, including UCLA, University of California - Irvine, California State University - Northridge, and conferences worldwide.  Dr. Ballon has conducted weekly groups in journal writing for women with cancer at the UCLA Ted Mann Family Resource Center.  She has been in private practice as a licensed psychotherapist in West Los Angeles for the past thirty years, successfully using writing therapy to revise the personal narratives of her clients.  Dr. Ballon is also a screenwriter, poetry therapist, Master teacher, and author of five widely-acclaimed books on writing.  She uniquely incorporates elements of successful screenwriting such as, structure, plot, character transformational arc, theme, dialogue into her therapeutic journal writing work with clients.
