The Great Journal Experience:
Six Weeks to a Deeply Satisfying Journaling Habit
Taught by Ruth Folit

Every now and then most of us journal writers need an injection of inspiration, a kick in the pants.  We get stuck in our patterns of thought. We may even
feel some reluctance to write. Most journal writers know these feelings.  Do you?

Journaling can bring a wide range of positive change to your life: reducing stress, improving health, increasing self-awareness, learning from your life experiences. Somehow in the midst of journaling (or not journaling) we can forget this.  This exciting class will help (re)kindle your passion for journaling.

In this six week online flex time home-study group you’ll learn new ways:
  • to approach journaling that makes it both fun and productive
  • to turn your emotional rants into self-knowledge
  • to see yourself more clearly and also more kindly
  • to find the positives from your life experiences
  • to appreciate the good things in your life
  • to explore and discover more of yourself
Join Ruth Folit, founder and president of IAJW and designer/producer of LifeJournal software, who will facilitate a group of like-minded journal writers online. The class schedule allows for you total flexibility. You’ll receive a writing assignment on Tuesday each week.  Post your response anytime by the following Monday. Ruth will respond to all posts, and, of course, all class members are encouraged to respond to other posts as well.  We’ll be sharing and discussing the journaling process—not journal entries. (Although from time to time you may want to share some of your journal entry passages.) LifeJournal is not required.

Come join us for what I know will be a life-enhancing, great journal experience!

NOTE: This class starts on Tuesday, January 17 and ends on Monday, February 20.
